Swing singer says Let it Snow

Hello,

Well last weekend was another fun filled couple of gigs at Old Trafford. On the Saturday i had awesome photographer Jonny Draper there to take some pics and having been asked for live shots so many times, I managed to secure Russ Stevens, who usually deals in MAGIC videos and such, (you should see him with Ant & Dec),......to make a live video and promo video for both me and the band. Russ has sent me a very rough draft of the video, and already it's looking fantastic.

I have put up a taster picture of the night where I managed to make it snow indoors, (thanks to JD from lightech, who have been fantastic), so thanks again to Jonny for making me look half decent...can't wait to see the rest.
I also spent Monday night with all the Managers from the Hilton Hotels UK and there annual dinner which this year was held in Blackpool. I was there with some great dancers who were on Britains got talent last year, FLAVA, they were great and even managed to get some of the managers up dancing. I'll download a couple of pics and get them on later.
Keep looking and I promise to keep adding!!
Happy Christmas

Swing singer Manchester

So.....it's taken me a while, for which I much apologise, but I come bearing good news!

This Christmas has been an exciting but busy time.

I have been playing at the new cricket pavilion at Old Trafford called 'The Point'.

With 900+ people a night its been a great start to Christmas, how can you not get in the party spirit?

This year I have been there with my band. This is only the small version, the 8 piece, but can go upto 14. Never the less with these great musicians the sound is awesome.....so if you've not already sorted your Christmas party get it booked!

I'll be back shortly with some updated photo's by hotshot photographer Jonny Draper and more stories!

Thanks for looking

January 2009

Well January was supposed to be a quiet month after a busy Christmas, singing at Lancashire County Cricket Club, but it was not to be.

First the family and I went ski-ing, for a change, instead of centreparcs, which is also very good, It was fantastic! If you want a cheap ski-ing holiday, we went to Romania with Neilson. Neilson were very helpful as were the Romanians, the ski instructors couldn't do more to help, (thanks Radu), and the coutryside/views were amazing.

Since getting back, It has been non stop. Had a couple of small booking early Jan, and then an open day at Stanley House Hotel in Mellor, Preston. That was a good day, with so many nice staff, and another group of brides, all looking for a venue. stanley house is lovely, fresh, modern, nice gardens, and 2 really good function rooms.

I have also been back to manchester, my secound home, for the Press launch at LCCC, Old trafford cricket club, their new stand is going to be amazing, 1,000 seater, no pillars and a great view of any matches.

Friday was a great night, it was the St Helens Saints RLFC pre season dinner at the Haydock Thistle hotel. Lots of very broad shouldered gentlemen, if you want a family night out, get a ticket.

Saturday was a corporate dinner for brokers direct, another great night, including a surprise guest spot from Elvis. Non stop dancing everyone on the dance floor at the end of the night for a big finish. Some sore heads the next day i think!

Sunday was a double day, first a stay over at The Manor House, I love the staff here, very friendly. It was their wedding fayre, so lots if brides walking around with their husbands to be. It was a good day, and a few new bookings hopefully to be confirmed.

Then onto Bartle Hall Preston, for a 60th birthday party. Another great night, saw a local actor from one of my favourite old tv programmes, Burn it, based in Manchester.. William Ash. He always plays dodgy parts, but is a really nice man. Met a couple of old pals from, in my opinion the best small hotel in Blackpool, the No1 Hotel, South Shore, and met some new friends from Flowerdesign in St Annes, who invited me to another bridal night at Dreamcatcher bridal shop in Kirkham nr Preston, on Thursday, so will try and post some pics when i get chance.
